Digitally designed according to the latest version of human genome build (GRch38/hg38).
The breakpoints are chosen based on peer-reviewed literatures at the resolution of a sing nucleotide.
Only the specific sequences within the selected regions are targeted by BRIGHTDOM probes.
The BRIGHTDOM probes cover all the functionally critical regions, e.g. the MYC, BCL2 and BCL6 break-apart probes target the MYC, BCL2, and BCL6 genes, respectively, not just the 5’ and 3’ flanking regions.
The BRIGHTDOM probes are mixtures of fluoresce-labeled single-stranded DNA and fluorescence -labeled doubled-stranded DNA, both strands of which are also fluorescence-labeled. The single-stranded probes increase the binding efficiency. Each stand of the double-stranded probes will give fluorescence signals at the target region, enhancing the FISH signal strength.
